Kristin Maher
Executive Director
Kristin has always felt a special connection with rescue dogs, especially ones that were overlooked because of age, breed, or background. All factors on why her dog Kobe was at the shelter for nearly a year. After her late husband passed, their rescue dog Kobe was often the reason she got out of bed in the morning. Knowing how in many ways he saved her, she wanted to bring that same companionship to others that need it on the hardest of days.
Ryan Maher
Board of Director - President
Ryan is an Air Force Veteran, former volunteer firefighter, and owner of his own small business, Ryan has a special ability to connect with people. His engaging demeanor extends beyond people and is equally effective in fostering positive interactions with every dog he meets.
Amanda Trinka
Board of Director - Vice President
Amanda has been involved in animal rescue going back as far as 2010 starting as out on the board of directors for a horse rescue and an advocate for equine safety and husbandry including evaluation of horses direct shipping to slaughter. Amanda has many rescue animals herself ranging from a horse, donkey, cats and varies other farm animals. Amanda is also a large supporter for mental health awareness and suicide prevention and is a big believer that a dog can help heal wounds that no one can see.
Josie Mainhart
Director of Social Media
Josie has been working with rescues for over 15 years. Her roles have ranged from fostering, transport, social media, fundraising and everything in between. Most her family and friends have adopted pups from liters she has fosters. Josie can convince you of almost anything while holding a cute puppy in her arms.

B’Angelo White
RPK9 Academy
B'Angelo brings over a decade of hands-on training experience with everything from rescue dogs to law enforcement K9s. His background in animal science and his specialization in canine nutrition allow him to approach dog training from a well-rounded, holistic perspective.
He's saved hundreds of dogs from behavioral euthanasia and has a track record of helping families regain peace, structure, and trust with their dogs. He also mentors the next generation of dog trainers including active military members and teens to carry forward his mission of purposeful dog training.
